Enoch Wedgwood & Co, a Staffordshire-based manufacturer known for high-quality ceramics, created Liberty Blue china in the mid-1970s to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Benjamin Franklin Federal Savings and Loan Bank. The pieces in this collection depict important scenes and national landmarks from early American history. Here is a set of twenty Liberty Blue original vintage pieces from 1976. The set includes:Four dinner platesTwo luncheon platesFour bread/dessert platesThree cup and saucer setsFour bowls. The set is in overall very good vintage condition. There is only one chipped piece, a bowl, and one saucer with a hairline crack on reverse and a bit of glaze missing on underside of one dinner plate. The front shows little to no sign of use. It appears they were used for display in a cabinet and not for dining. Please see photos.
